Abandonnée à la naissance, " elle était toute ridée comme une vieille pomme et toute repliée sur elle-même. " Près de 28 ans plus tard, on lit dans son carnet, 6 mois avant son décès subit : " Ma décision est d'aimer comme Jésus : jusqu'au bout... " Le jour de ses funérailles, l'église est pleine, la foule déborde sur le parvis. Ces personnes venues en masse, souvent inconnues aux parents, avaient en commun d'avoir été marquées par leur rencontre avec Claire-Aime.
